Brothers,
Welcome to the online home of the Wyoming Alumni Association of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. The association by-laws will be loaded to the site soon. Until then, please allow me to lay out the association’s mission and future plans.
The association is open to all Wyoming Alpha graduates and SAE alums living within the Cowboy State’s borders. Our mission is to perpetuate the bonds of our great fraternity after graduation through social events, networking and community service opportunities. We also have set out to strongly connect with Wyoming Alpha and aid in its endeavors to continue being a fraternal leader at the University of Wyoming.
The association IS NOT intended to be a fundraising arm for WYAL. The association may occasionally provide leadership school scholarships to the chapter only after association members have approved. The association’s founders firmly believe time and knowledge are far more valuable to a collegiate chapter than financial contributions.
The association’s founders are very excited to get the association off the ground. Please check the site often because we expect to make frequent updates about association events, alumni accomplishments, WYAL accomplishments and events and news and notes from around the Realm.
Fraternally,
Jeremiah Johnke (’03)
Wyoming Alpha co-chapter advisor
Ok, so how do we donate if we want to?
Good idea to get a bunch of the old alums as members. How can I help?
Leif,
The vast majority of current association members are from 2002-present, so we’d definitely love to have some guys from the chapter’s heyday.
We’re nearing an adjustment to dues to an amount more fitting of the present economic climate and establishing a PayPal link for guys to pay their dues online. There is some paperwork that needs to be handled before we can establish the PayPal link and the guy handling that is currently knee deep in tax season.
In the meantime, pass this URL along to all the alums you know and encourage them to check the site often.
Jeremiah Johnke
Hey,
Wouldn’t mind keeping in touch with our chapter and events and wanted to find out about either e-newsletters or the association. I forgot how a lot of this worked. L
